Sultry is from Ch. Shaizach Stardust's (Gem's) last litter. She is sired by Ch. Rosmoor The Apocalypse. Sultry has the distinction of being the only obedience titled Sheltie we have here at Shaizach now (Thank you to Nancy Withers). She also has her Canine Good Citizen (CGC) certificate and is a certified Therapy Dog International (TDI).
Sultry, along with my teenage son and his pet Collie, who is also a certified Therapy Dog, make weekly visits to a nearby home for the elderly. It is an enriching and emotionally rewarding experience for us all.
Sultry has a light, lean head, a sound, athletic, solid body, and a pretty dark eye. Her temperament obviously is loving, fun and wonderful. We love her and spoil her, as she lives full time in our home and in our bed! She will likely not have a show career, as her ears, although set well and high on her head, break somewhat lower than my vision of ideal, and I do not care for the regular bracing that would be necessary to keep them looking competitive. I hope to get a good photo of her up soon.
